Rewire's assistant doesn't hand you paragraphs to paste. It reads your project, takes action inside it, and shows you what changed — step by step.
Every move shows up in the thread — composed a part, placed a clip, pressed play, saved the session. Nothing happens in a black box. You stay in the loop because you see the loop.
Point at a clip, track, or device and the assistant already knows what you mean. No re-explaining which bassline or which plugin slot you're talking about.
One prompt can chain into many moves — sketch the harmony, drop it on the timeline, audition the arrangement, tweak the length. It keeps going like a collaborator, not a one-line autocomplete.
These aren't browser tricks pasted into your DAW. The assistant uses the same internals as the app — arrangement tools in Studio, graph and build tools in Editor — so results land where they belong.

Ask

Explore your session or plugin without changing a thing. Ask what's on a track, why a send sounds wet, or what a control does — and get answers grounded in what you're actually looking at.
Plan
Map the move before it happens
Big ideas deserve a draft first. Plan mode lays out the steps — an arrangement pass, a stem rework, a plugin architecture — so you can edit the roadmap before anything touches your timeline or project files.
Agent
Say what you want — it does the work
This is where the assistant stops talking and starts doing. It composes MIDI, drops clips, loads devices, hits play, saves your session — or builds a plugin graph and runs it through verify until the project is green. You watch every move.
Generate panel
Generate is for material — loops, MIDI parts, one-shots. Describe the vibe, watch it plan the details, create the audio or notes, and drop them into your session. Same agentic philosophy, focused on output.
How it feels
The loop is simple — you talk in results, the assistant works in the app, you keep editing until it sounds like you.
